Blind Football Ireland’s rapid progression is set to be ramped up once again with the first ever Blind Football matches to be played in Ireland. The matches are set for the 26th and 27th July. This will be the current senior squad’s second set of matches following on from a very
respectable draw with the English Development squad in England before Christmas.
The lads will face their first Continental challenge with three matches over two days against Czech outfit Avoy MU Brno who have kindly agreed to travel to Dublin for the weekend to play these friendly matches. These exciting games will take place at Ballymun United with kick off times of 1.30pm and 4.30pm on the Saturday and a 12.30pm kick off on the Sunday. Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of the games and support for the lads would be very much appreciated. So, come along and witness a piece of history being made with the first ever Blind football matches being played on Irish soil.
