This weekend marks another important milestone in the story of Blind Football Ireland (BFI). Around ten players have a rare opportunity to be coached by one of the games top coaches as part of a weekend jointly organised by Blind Football Ireland and the International Blind Sports Association (IBSA). The weekend’s events will kick off on Friday in the Skylon Hotel in Drumcondra at 6.30pm with a short over view of the program and a reception. On Saturday at 10am In Ballymun the players will be put through their paces by former Paralympic England Blind Football manager Tony Larkin who has decades of coaching experience. This will present our players and coaches with a fantastic opportunity to build on their skills and knowledge from one of the game’s best. After a hard day’s training the squad will retire again to the Skylon for Dinner before a well-earned rest before doing it all over again on Sunday morning. Further, details and snaps of the weekend will appear here on the website as well as across our social media.
