Last week was a major milestone for B1 football development in Ireland when Blind Football Ireland (BFI) formally passed their constitution and got the ball rolling on establishing charity status.
Tony Larkin (ex-England and GB national coach) travelled to our training centre in Ballymun to put the players through two days of intensive training as part of IBSA’s European blind football Development project.
All players found the weekend hugely beneficial and everyone learned a lot from Tony’s years of experience in the sport. This will really help us in building a platform to develop B1 football even further in Ireland over the coming months.
